What we collect

When you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or X, we receive a provider account identifier, basic profile information, and an email address when the provider supplies one. X does not currently provide an email address to us. We also collect the public profile name you choose, comments you post, playlists you create or save, closed-reason playlist reports you submit, and basic security and service logs.

What is public

Your chosen profile name, profile image, sign-in provider label, comments, and comment dates may appear publicly. Your email address and provider account identifier are never included in public profile or comment APIs.

Public playlists can appear in discovery. Unlisted playlists are visible only to people who have their opaque link or identifier. Private playlists are visible only to their owner. A visible playlist includes its title, description, and ordered question references, but never its owner's raw account identifier, email address, or sign-in details.

How we use information

We use account data to authenticate you, operate comments and playlists, remember playlists you save, process closed-reason abuse reports, provide support, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your email for public display.

Contact messages

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you submit. The form emails that information to our support mailbox. GameNinja does not save a separate copy of the submission in its application database.

Analytics and cookies

GameNinja uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Analytics providers may process device, browser, and interaction data under their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Account, comment, and playlist data is retained while your account is active or as needed for security and legal purposes. You can delete individual comments or playlists. Permanently deleting your GameNinja account from thedata deletion page also deletes its comments, owned playlists, saved-playlist records, playlist reports, and playlist ownership or moderation records through the account-deletion cascade.
